My Thoughts Halfway Through “Andor”

No, seriously, how is it this good?
Diego Luna as Cassian Andor in the show "Andor".

We are now halfway through “Andor,” and so, what do I think of it so far? Honestly, I like it. In fact, the more I see, the more I like. The thing that I appreciate the most, so far, is how it’s taking it’s time to tell its story. So far, there have been two three-episode story arcs. The first story arc I have already written about, and so I won’t go too deeply into it. I am honestly glad that this series is just taking its time. There really is not much action or fighting at all. In fact, the only fights we have seen are in episodes 3 and 6, the finales of each story arc. Even then, the fighting is small scale and the episode doesn’t linger too much on the fighting either. They are over in just a few minutes. It treats its audience like adults, not hyperactive children who need to be constantly entertained, or they’ll get bored. I wish that this wasn’t something I had to praise the show for as it should be the standard, but sadly, it isn’t.
